The first step in manufacturing plastic hangers is the design phase. The chosen plastic is melted down and injected into molds that have been created based on the hanger design. The molten plastic is injected under high pressure into the mold cavities, ensuring precise replication of the hanger shape and details.

After the plastic has cooled and solidified within the molds, the hangers are removed, and any excess plastic or imperfections are trimmed or smoothed out. This process, known as deflashing, ensures that the hangers have a clean and polished appearance. At this stage, additional features such as hooks or swivel mechanisms may be added to the hangers, depending on the design specifications.

Next, the hangers undergo a series of quality control checks to ensure they meet the required standards. This includes inspecting the hangers for any defects, such as cracks, uneven surfaces, or color inconsistencies. Hangers that pass the quality control checks are then sorted and packaged for distribution.

The manufacturing of plastic hangers also takes into consideration sustainability and environmental impact. Many manufacturers strive to use recycled or eco-friendly plastics in their production processes, reducing the carbon footprint associated with hanger production. Additionally, efforts are made to optimize energy usage, minimize waste generation, and implement recycling programs to responsibly manage any leftover or defective hangers.
